Here is the official poster for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics: there are two halves, and the bottom image is a detail. This is a really great poster in my mind, especially after seeing all of the detail. There appears to be a lot of controversy over it (the maple leaf being split), but none the less, I think it is pretty spectacular.Unlike the London 2012 identity, this doesn’t make me want to convulse in an epileptic seizure fit, although it might be a little precious, I like it. There’s so much fine detail in there…and is that painted on plywood? is that a float plane? I want to see this at full size.

I would like to know where in Portland they are getting those download speeds, I’m lucky if I can even get 3G to connect. And San Francisco? Couldnt get on the 3G network the whole time I was there. ATT = FAIL.3G Speed And Reliability Results By City
Percentage of 1-minute performance tests in which service was available, uninterrupted, and faster than dial-up speed:
- Verizon in NYC: 100%
- Sprint in NYC: 90%
- AT&T in NYC: 65%
It doesn’t just *seem* like AT&T only works half the time.
I feel like I own a Ferrari that only goes up to 60.
